Oarai is famous for its food and produce, so it is no surprise that the number of restaurants, diners, shops and coffee shops is astronomical!
It might be slightly confusing at first because of sheer numbers, but we got you sorted - below you can find a list of suggestions and recommendations sorted by food category. By no means is it an exhaustive list, so feel free and explore the Oarai food scene as you go! IT'S WORTH IT!

To find these spots use Google maps (works with the Latin alphabet and well as kanji); alternatively, you can use the Oarai Food Map (大洗食べどころマップ) available from the Town Hall and Tourist attraction centres.
